I hate Brussels Sprouts. You can't stop me. Defend them to me if you must.. I don't mind.

ok.. not sure I'll say "I like them, Sam I am" yet.. but Helene's recipe for steaming Brussels Sprouts and the sauteeing them with TONS of garlic and a bit of oil until they are crispy works for me.. therefore I might be swayed into thinking that the things are not, after all, a total waste of farmland.

The Origin Answer
The story begins long before I was born: At that time Vegetarians didn't have convenience foods and much of the food we can make in 5 minutes today took a while to cook... so when my mother, who was at the time a vegetarian herself, gave birth to me, she had to forgo her vegetarianism.. actually, not because I was born, but because I was Colic and needed constant care... I then got Scarlet Fever and she was stuck eating meat. She always felt somewhat reticent about that choice.

I got a couple of nice presents, but I made a deal with my siblings that I couldn't really afford to buy them a lot, so I got them a big tin of chocolates each. I mostly got money though.
Happy New Years Eve to you too, even though I don't really celebrate it, I must be the only person I know that is finishing work at 8pm and going home to bed!! (Doesn't help that i'm suffering from Flu at the moment either)

The song is on a CD that was put out by PETA, I believe it's just called "Animal Liberation Songs" or something. I got it a few years back. It was in a used bin at FYE for like two bucks so I picked it up.
