Are you Vegetarian, Vegan or something else?
I have been Vegetarian for almost 20 years- since I was 9- then it was for health reasons, now it's a lifestyle. I'm also raising my kids to be as well. I've decided to transition back to Vegan (I was Vegan for a while). Any questions, feel free to ask! :)
About Me:
My name is Marcia, but friends and family call me Mush (shorten Marcia with a new england accent, that's what you get). I'm a wife, I'm a mother of 2 and I'm a vegetarian and i also am a bit of an activist- online mostly...environmental, peace, animal rights... I feel strongly about many things and will at least petition for my beliefs. I am determined to make a difference, even if it is only slightly.
I love photography and music. I love jam bands and the blues, hippie festivals, & being outdoors. Being a New Englander, I am a HUGE New England sports fan, even though I don't like all sports... Love the Red Sox, and am a supporter of the Pats, the Bruins and even though I'm not a basketball fan, I support the Celtics too. I always cheer for New England!!!
I just recently moved back to RI from Las Vegas, since my son will be starting school next year and we didn't want him in school in Vegas.
I have 5 tattoos (one isn't finished yet) and so far have planned on getting at least 2 more.
Pretty much, that's me in a nutshell... more in my blog :)

A Bit About Myself

Where to begin???
Well, I guess I'll start to my becoming a vegetarian at age 9. It was a simple choice for me. I grew up on a farm in Northern RI. My friends were the animals. I was never a big meat eater... then my dr told me I had high cholesterol at age 9 (it's a family thing apparently). I freaked out and stopped eating, so my mom called the dr, and we discussed my diet. I said I wanted to become a vegetarian, my dr didn't object, so I did.
Fast-forward to age 21, sill a veg- neve… Continue

Okay so that cheese was pretty darn good. I didn't think that rice cheese would taste that good, but it is much better than I expected and a lot better than any of the soy cheeses that I have tried. I forgot the brand but I will get back to you with the name and maybe you could try it.

Good to hear from you! I've been very busy with work and school. The usual story! How have you been? I hope you've been well.

I was kinda bad today and played hookie. But thats what you do on your B-Day right? At least if you can afford to not go to work or anything like that. I will let you know what I think of the cheese as soon as I gather my courage to try it hahah :P

The transition is going well actually. I have started to slowly phase dairy out and I just bought some rice cheese today and some vegan bread that, hopefully, will be very tastey. Its not the easiest thing in the world but its going better than I expected.
