- I was vegan on and off for 2 years, switching from vegan to vegetarian, until I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I found out that animal products of any kind made the pain worse, so a vegan diet was good, but a raw diet was even better. Plus I feel better mentally being animal free, so not having the guilt of abuse on my mind makes things better too. Plus animals are not ours to just do as we please, they need love and care too. I'm glad I found this site because I would like to meet more veggie friends.
