letting go is even better. as thoreau wrote: "A man is rich in proportion to the number of things he can afford to let alone". it may not seem logical, but it is nevertheless true.

i think what could be intimidating is that there may not be a worthwhile choice to being with. this can happen in a society that has gone amuck with its value system.
in any case, i presume you've been reading the thread on the veghaven forum regarding the candidates and animal rights: http://veghaven.org/forum/topic/show?id=1350827%3ATopic%3A85126
it's not too bad. it looks like there are still some people left there who do have a suitable position regarding animal rights, so that is possibly encouraging.

I was just thinking that the choice that intimidates me most is not making a choice.
S So. I always feel like I am directing my life. Making the ... maki... directing? Whats the red line imply about the word?

this is sufficiently cryptic that i'm not completely sure it was intended for me, so perhaps you can clarify.
however, i find you do have an interesting construct when you write you are intimidated by the 'choice of not making a choice'. if 'not making a choice' is itself a choice, then is it not impossible to 'not make a choice'? if so, is there anything to be intimidated about?
