Veggie Goddesses is a new project that is literally just starting. Veggie Goddesses is about promoting vegetarianism, veganism, anti-fur, anti-cruelty, change, strong minds, compassion, and beauty. This project is similar to the Vegan Vixens, except, we include vegetarians, and we don't sing or host a show. So rather than being seen as "competition" or anything, it shall be stated immedietly that Veggie Goddesses supports the Vegan Vixens and wishes to work with them (rather than as a competitor) to promote views with a sexy twist. Veggie Goddesses also works strongly with blending creativity, beauty, sex appeal, and compassion for animals/activism. The goal is to get vegetarian and vegan women together as models for vegetarianism, veganism, anti-fur, etc.
Questions & Answers:
Q: Do you have a website?
A:Yes! But its under heavy construction.
Q: Do I have to be a model to be a Veggie Goddess?
A: Nope. Just keep in mind that photography is the main part of this, and you will be the subject. If you're confident with yourself, then go for it!
Q: Do I have to look all natural and plain?
A: Hell no. Piercings, tattooes, alternative styles, and more are welcome! Just be sexy and own your look.
Q: If I apply and get accepted, am I in a permanent group?
A: You will be an official Veggie Goddess, but there is not an actual "group". Think of it sort of like the Suicide Girls. They are Suicide Girls, but they don't always tour around together and such. This is similar to that.
Q: How old do I have to be to be a Veggie Goddess?
A: That mostly depends on the style of picture you take. But basically, we'd like you to be atleast 18 or 19. (There will be some exceptions).
Q: Are you looking for photographers?
A: Yes!!! We are definitly looking for photographers. More information will be posted on that later, but if you have a good camera, and skills, Veggie Goddesses wants you!
Q: Are you looking for anything else?
A: Yep. We need artists that can draw well. Graphic design artists could also come in handy. (Both to help with logo designs.) We are also looking for make up artists and hair stylists.
Q: I don't want to do any of that, but can I still be involved?
A: Of course. You can help spread the word about Veggie Goddesses, you can tell your friends what we are looking for (incase one of them is interested and qualified). You will also be able to be a member of the site once it gets up and running. :)
Q: Can men be part of this?
A: Yes. Men can help with promoting, art, photography, and basically every aspect except for the direct modeling. And there is also an exception there. Later on, we may have a few pieces where we will need a few men. More information will be posted on that when it occurs.
Q: Doesn't this objectify women?
A: Absolutely not! Veggie Goddesses in no way wants to objectify women. This project hopes to use the beauty of women to add to the idea of promoting vegetarianism, veganism, anti-fur, animal rights, etc. There may be some shots that are overly sexy, but they are in no way intended to objectify women. In fact, it actually can be shown through this project how much power women have to be strong, beautiful, sexy, and speak their minds!
