Here's the longer FACEBOOK description of oru group:
Telling the Vegetarian Story is for oral historians and personal historians whose key goal in life is to complete the documentation and effective telling of the manifold story of vegetarian history and the development, decline, resurgence and renewal, and prospective advance in many cultures, including one's own. Methods of audio recording and documentation, preserving photos and other artifactual evidence, and storing and institutional archiving, restoration, and preservation will be key topics for our discussion and our networking. Members of OHA and SAA are encouraged to join if they have an interest in "Telling the Vegetarian Story" in professional and historically excellent, interesting, and compelling ways, and in enabling others to do so, also.
Love and Peace~
