No Food At All

You might have heard about breatharianism, non-eating, living on light, etc.
It's like that

http://www.breatharian.info/index.html

But has anyone given it a try?
Ain't it seducing being so independent?
For me it damn is!

actually I made certain steps about 2 years back, no, I didn't succeed, 3-4 days with no food as max. I guess the aggression and the lack of enough sunshine and fresh air are the main factors preventing from healthy living. I'm not sure if it's feasible at all, but obviously a big northern city is not the best place to start. But I've learnt a lot and the problem is still there - I do not enjoy eating very much, yet I do stuff myself with that funny junk and quite a bit. The only thing I can't help liking is Sharon fruit (halipupu) or persimmon or date-plum (Diospyros gen.) or Zeus-wheat or whatever you call it in your place. We do not get lots of tropical charm here, anyway eth is imported and preserved, one can't really judge .. k .. you got the point

so any ideas/experience?

This is a topic I am hearing about for the first time. I fasted once for 4 weeks, only drinking water, and felt great! After a few days, there was no hunger at all. Somehow, there was more clarity to my thinking, also, that I really enjoyed...along with the meditating and reading. So, that part, I can see.

Here, unfortunately, it is not feasible to live on air and sunshine...chemtrails cover the skies on most days and give me headaches and make me very congested just for the short amount of time I am outside. I don't know where there is fresh air, any more. :(

4 weeks! WOW! you are a promising spirit, Donna! I guess you are quite ready for Hawaii!

feasible or not, I like the idea because there is really sth strange going on inside us

Costya, I think I know what you mean, but could you explain what kind of strange things...?

LOL, the whole digesting process is pretty unintelligent, don't you think so?

Yes, lol, like a program running in the background.

According to the website, they don't eat or drink anything. It's certainly sounds interesting but I don't think it's for me. I've heard that after a week or two without even water, a person's body starts getting sick and they could die. I don't think I want to test that theory. If anyone's brave enough to try it, more power to them. I've never heard of living on just air and light. Also, I work at a plant nursery. In the florida heat, I think that would not be a good idea. In the summer time, if I don't bring snacks to work and extra stuff to drink, I know I start feeling like I could pass out.

That is the point, Cassandra! The truth is sadly there are not that many places on Earth to live healthy and happy.

There are things that are needed in this world to survive.

1. Air
2. Water
3. Food

If you remove any one of these for an extended length of time you will die, some quicker than others!!

Yes you can go without food. And your body will cope. Eating away at it self starting with fat and muscle.
Go without water and you will last a lot less time.
Go with out air and well your brain dies off and you go nite nite very quickly.

I would NEVER recommend becoming a breatharian! And if you ever want to I recommend meeting someone that is and is STILL ALIVE before believing everything you read on the internet.

Fasting on the other hand, done sensibly, can be very good for the body and spirit. I have no problem with a 40 day fast. Having several friends that have done it I can see the benefits. But you need to make sure you drink plenty of water. And also break the fast correctly so not to shock your body and digestion system.

The digestion system only runs in the background if you feed it correctly. If you quote "stuff myself with that funny junk quite a bit" your digestion will tell you that its not good!!

I suggest trying to clean up your diet more before tempting bizarre diets like this one.

And what is so wrong with eating food??

Reply to This

it's not a 'bizarre diet', it is no diet at all

i do not say it is the way out but it would be the perfect one

'And what is so wrong with eating food??'
ppl say just the same about eating animals, pollution and ath else, 'it's natural'

it depends only on one's viewpoint or the circumstances that make one change habits

personally, i'd be very happy to be independent on food and thus on a billion other ties

because apart from those 3 you mentioned, there is something else a person may need

This is the first time I have ever heard of this! I read all the responses and checked out the website--but I gotta say, it just sounds like anorexia to me. I think fasting can be beneficial too...but was I the only one who saw the after school special on eating disorders? And I don't see eating and the digestion system as "unintelligent" or a burdern..I mean what would life be like without the simple pleasure of food? Where would families and friends get together at theend of the day? I guess I'm just pro-food. No judgement on breatharians, I just won't be joing the party :)

peace
