I would like to be a bean. For someone to soak me, rinse me, and season me with their flavor of preference. Then, i'd like to be boiled for hours on in, marinating in delicious garlic and onions, waiting patiently until the day i meet the grain of rice of my dreams, to be consumed with, to slide down the pallette of some wonderful bean and rice eating creature, and please their eager belly with my squishy insides. I'd also prefer that Zatarains be a part of my seasoning, and that i would also meet some scrumptions cornbread to pick on while i'm hanging out in the bowl, waiting for my turn to ride the spoon to the peak of the teeth, and perhaps cling to my friends screaming as i race down the taste buds. I wish i were a bean.
